A mindössze 1 millió forintból forgatott Pillangó Parádé baráti összefogással született. Míg a sztriptízbárt egy művelődési házban húzták fel, addig a nagymama tényleg önmagát alakítja.
A film forgatásának körülményei párhuzamosak a cselekmény koncepciójával: Az érvényesülni próbáló kezdő filmeseket állítja középpontba, akik az elérhetetlent hajszolják. A magyar valóságot azonban megspékelik némi fikcióval, mintha a karakterek tényleg egy filmbe csöppennének. A klasszikusokra tett kikacsintások folyamatosan tetten érhetőek, hiszen az alkotók az alapvető forgatókönyves receptúrának tisztelegnek. Az éjjeli pillangó szerepében Sajgál Sára tündököl, a görbe tükröt pedig Szacsvay László és Mikó István vendégszereplése koronázza meg.

The Butterfly Parade, filmed with just HUF 1 million, was created by a group of friends. While the strip bar was set up in a community center, the grandmother is really playing herself. The conditions of the filming of the film are parallel to the concept of the plot: It focuses on novice filmmakers trying to establish themselves, who are chasing the unattainable. However, the Hungarian reality is embellished with some fiction, as if the characters really fell into a movie. The nods to the classics are constantly visible, as the creators pay homage to the basic scripted recipe. Sára Sajgál shines in the role of the night butterfly, and the crooked mirror is crowned by the guest appearances of László Szacsvay and István Mikó.
