Á yfirlitssýningu Sköpunarmiðstöðvarinnar verða sýnd verk eftir listafólk sem tengst hefur miðstöðinni og dvalið þar í vinnustofu en miðstöðin hlaut Eyrarrósina árið 2025.

Sköpunarmiðstöðin var stofnuð árið 2011 og hefur þróast sem menningarmiðstöð og alþjóðleg vinnustofudvöl sem styður við listræna sköpun, miðlun og tilraunastarfsemi á Austurlandi. Sýning þessi varpar ljósi á rúman áratug af skapandi starfsemi miðstöðvarinnar sem einkennist af fjölbreyttum listformum, vinnuaðferðum og listrænu samstarfi.

The exhibition presents a retrospective of artists associated with the Fish Factory, featuring works by artists who are associated with the center or have participated in its residency programme.

The Fish Factory, the recipient of the 2025 Eyrarrósin award, was established in 2011. Since then, it has evolved into a cultural centre and international art residency, supporting artistic production, exchange and experimentation in East Iceland. The
exhibition reflects on more than a decade of creative activity, highlighting the diversity of practices and artistic relationships that have shaped the space and its community.
