Lani Yamamoto

Writer and illustrator based in Reykjavík. Her first novel, Ours and Others', was shortlisted for the 2020 Novel Prize. Translated into 14 languages, awarded the Icelandic Women's Literature Prize, and nominated for the Icelandic Literature Prize. Lani Yamamoto has written and illustrated six philosophical books.
Originally from Boston, Lani has lived in Reykjavík for the past 25 years.
