Budapest századfordulós épületeinek homlokzatai mögött olyan terek rejtőznek, amelyeket kevesen látnak. Néma lépcsőházak, kopott udvarok és előcsarnokok generációk életének voltak tanúi, megőrizve a város változó arcát. Vincent Baumgartner kiállítása ezeket a rejtett belső tereket mutatja meg, ahol az idő nyomot hagyott: emlékekkel rétegzett falakat, finoman megkopott részleteket. Ezek az épületek nem romok, hanem hidak múlt és jelen között, ahol a történelem minden részletben jelen van.

Behind the façades of Budapest’s turn-of-the-century architecture lie spaces few ever see. Silent staircases, worn courtyards and entrance halls have witnessed generations pass through, preserving traces of the city’s changing life. This exhibition by Vincent Baumgartner uncovers these hidden interiors, where time has left its mark: walls layered with memory, details softened by age. These buildings are not ruins but bridges between past and present, where history lingers in every detail.
