Ex.Sapiens is a ritual of creation. Homo Ludens is crafted over 5 days, with each day introducing a new element by focusing on different senses and emotions. We aim to collectively recalibrate and construct a space that allows us to playfully connect with each other, ourselves, and the Earth. In the end, the essence of Homo Ludens is brought to life through sound and movement, fragrance and flavor, touch and vision, that will open a multidimensional space for exploration of grief, rage, joy, hope, and longing.

Homo Ludens is the playful human, unable to disconnect from the roots of the Earth, the matter, and multisensory interaction with the world. We’re writing a solarpunk narrative about the integrity of the human being with the environment.

How, individually and collectively, can we return to a state of symbiosis with Gaia? Is the Earth my family?

 داوود is a Palestinian-Syrian-Dutch artivist, community organizer, and performer, creating events with a special focus on decolonial discourse, solar punk, community, food culture, and anarchism.

Marta Domachowska works with photography. In her practice, she explores the stories carried by bodily expression. With her work, she wants to write narratives about human nature in the context of modern society and connection to our roots.

Doro Sora is a visual artist whose main means of expression include sculpture, performance, scenography, and social art. The love of her life is clay, and she is currently exploring its Icelandic qualities at Mynlistarskóli Reykjavíkur.
