RECOMMENDED: 22nd Japan Festival in Reykjavik / 2026.01.31. 🇮🇸 🇯🇵

22nd Japan Festival, co-organized by the students and teachers of the BA-program in Japanese Language & Culture at the University of Iceland and the Embassy of Japan in Iceland.
This year’s festival will once again offer a delightful mix of activities, including Karate and Aikido demonstrations, Manga workshops, a Go workshop, Kendama, Superball scooping, film screenings, and much more for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
Our aim is to continue fostering a warm and positive relationship between Japan and Iceland through this lighthearted and enjoyable annual celebration.
The festival will be presented in cooperation with the Iceland–Japan Society, the Icelandic Go Association, the Icelandic Comics Society, Sverðboltafélag Íslands, Aikikai Reykjavík, Karatefélag Reykjavíkur, Nakano, Testund, Ramen Momo, Trip to Japan and Bóksala stúdenta.
