It started 50 years ago: Truck-Mounted Tree Transplanting Super Spade / 🚧🌳🚜🚧

The first truck-mounted tree transplanting machine was conceptualized by John Bloss Sr. in 1966, and the first machine built by BIG JOHN Tree Transplanter Manufacturing Inc. was the Model 78 in 1976. While various earlier methods and machines existed for moving trees, Bloss's idea to mount a machine on a truck was a key step in creating the large-scale, mobile equipment used today.
