Oslo Negativ is the city's photo festival and a gathering point for everyone interested in photography.

 

Overview

Every year the photo festival is organized through a collaboration between the Møllersamlingen and the Preus Museum.

After the National Gallery was emptied of art, the building will once again be filled with life and images. Over three weekends in October, the public can meet photographers, gallery owners, and exhibitors, and view documentary and art photography, reportage, and fashion photography from Norway and abroad.

This year marks the fifth edition of the festival, which has breathed new life into empty buildings every year. This year's Oslo Negativ will fill the premises on the first and ground floors, where festival guests will be able to revisit both iconic halls and unknown rooms that were previously closed to the public.

The festival program includes exhibitions, cafés, lectures, darkrooms, and courses throughout the festival. Every day during the festival's opening hours, the public can attend artist talks and panel discussions in the lecture hall. All lectures, guided tours, etc. are included in the festival ticket.
